Algorithms and games for
problems that don't fit
classical intuition.

Psienced is a research and product studio working where quantum information meets human health. We build the algorithms — and the games that make them legible to the people who need them.

Two arms, one thesis

Hard science becomes useful in two ways: someone builds the tool, and someone makes it understandable. We do both, deliberately.

Play as a way of knowing

Games that teach quantum mechanics by making it playable. Superposition, interference and measurement stop being metaphors when you have to steer them to win. Our first title, Taco Function, does exactly that.

  • Quantum-native game mechanics
  • Learning through play, not lecture
  • Built for students and the curious

Infrastructure for real decisions

Research-grade software for questions where the answer has to be defensible. Our first tool, Evidence Rank, pairs AI with our in-house network theory algorithm to rank supplements by evidence.

  • Evidence-weighted ranking algorithms
  • Network theory applied to health data
  • Every result traceable to its source

Where we work

Two fields that share a common difficulty — the answer is probabilistic, the stakes are not.

Quantum

Algorithm design for near-term quantum hardware, quantum-inspired classical methods, and the modelling of systems where interference and correlation carry the signal.

Focus
Algorithms, simulation, information theory
Output
Libraries, papers, playable models

Healthtech

Computational methods for biomedical data — from evidence synthesis to personalised recommendation — with reproducibility treated as a product requirement rather than an afterthought.

Focus
Evidence synthesis, network theory, decision support
Output
Pipelines, platforms, audited results

How we build

  1. Show the working

Every result ships with the method that produced it. If it can't be reproduced, we don't consider it finished.

  2. Name the limits

Models have failure modes. We document ours rather than letting a confident interface imply certainty that isn't there.

  3. Depth without ceremony

Rigour in the engine, clarity at the surface. Complexity is our problem to absorb, not the user's to decode.

  4. Build for the long horizon

Quantum and health both reward patience. We plan on the timescale of the science, not the news cycle.
