Quantum computing is usually taught as notation first and intuition later — which is backwards for almost everyone. Psienced Games inverts it. You play the mechanics until they feel obvious, and the mathematics arrives as a description of something you already know how to do.

Taco Function
Learn quantum computing the fun way.
Taco Function is a game that teaches quantum computing by turning its core ideas into something you play rather than something you study. The rules of the game are the rules of quantum mechanics — so getting better at the game is the same activity as building real intuition for superposition, interference and measurement.
It is aimed at anyone who has bounced off a quantum computing course: students meeting qubits for the first time, developers curious about where the field is going, and educators looking for something their class will actually engage with.

How we design a quantum game
A game about quantum mechanics is easy to get wrong: most either bolt a physics skin onto a classical game, or teach the notation and call it play.

The physics is the mechanic
If you could win by ignoring the quantum behaviour, the game hasn't taught anything. The rules have to bite.

Intuition before notation
Nobody needs bra-ket notation to feel what interference does. The symbols come after the instinct, not before it.

Honest models
We simplify, but we don't lie. Where a model departs from the real physics, we say so rather than leaving a misconception behind.

Fun is the requirement
An educational game that isn't a good game teaches nobody, because nobody finishes it.
